AI implementation consultancy
We set up AI that actually gets used.
Northlane finds where AI pays off in your business, builds the automations and agents that do the work, and trains your team to run them, inside the tools you already use.

What we do
Most companies already pay for AI and see little change. We work the other way round: we study how your team really works, pick the processes where AI makes a measurable difference, then design, build and roll out the solution with your people, not around them.
Every system we build has an owner, clear guardrails and documentation. When we leave, your team runs it without us.
Hours returned
38%
Average share of recurring work automated in the first quarter
Time to first pilot
4 weeks
From kickoff call to a working AI pilot in production
Team adoption
92%
Of trained staff using the new workflows every week after 90 days
How we work
From first call to AI in production in three steps
No year-long transformation program and no slide decks that gather dust. We start small, prove the value, then scale what works.

01 — Audit
Find where AI really pays off
We map your workflows, data and tools, then rank every AI opportunity by value, effort and risk. You get a clear, written roadmap.
02 — Build
Pilot one high-impact use case
We design and build the first automation or AI agent inside your existing tools, and measure it against a clear baseline.
03 — Scale
Roll out, train and hand over
We scale what works across teams, train your people and hand over documentation, so the system keeps improving without us.
Services
Everything you need to put AI work
No year-long transformation program and no slide decks that gather dust. We start small, prove the value, then scale what works.

Strategy
AI Strategy & Audit
Assess your data, systems and team, find the use cases worth funding, and build a roadmap leadership can commit to.

Automation
Workflow Automation
Connect the tools you already use and remove the copy-paste between them, from invoices and intake forms to weekly reports.

Agents
Custom AI Agents
Agents that answer customers, triage tickets and draft documents, grounded in your own data and handing off to people when unsure.

Knowledge
Knowledge & Search
Turn scattered docs, wikis and past tickets into one searchable source your team can ask questions in plain language.

Enablement
Training & Change
Hands-on training, playbooks and rollout support so new tools become part of the work, and keep improving after we leave.

Inside a project
One AI project, followed from first call to launch
Here’s how a six-week project unfolded for a logistics team spending two days a week on supplier reports.
Start to finish
6 weeks
From the first call to an AI workflow live in production
Day 1
Discovery call
“We spend two days every week building supplier risk reports by hand.” Together we set the goal: cut that time in half.
Week 1
Workflow audit
We map every step of the reporting process, the systems involved and where the hours actually go.
Week 2
Use case agreed
Automated data gathering and AI-drafted summaries are chosen, with a success metric the whole team signs off on.
Week 3
Pilot built
An AI workflow pulls contracts, deliveries and tickets from four systems and drafts the weekly report with sources linked.
Week 5
Tested with the team
Maya, Procurement Lead, reviews the drafts and flags edge cases. We tune the workflow around her feedback.
Week 6
Live and handed over
The team is trained, documentation is delivered, and the report now takes three hours instead of two days.
Tools we work with
We build inside the tools you already pay for
We are vendor-neutral. We connect leading AI models to your existing stack, so there is no rip-and-replace and no new tab for your team to remember.

FAQ
Questions we hear on the first call
Where do we start if we’ve never used AI?
With a two-week AI audit. We review your workflows, data and tools, then hand you a written roadmap with the use cases most likely to pay off, and the ones to avoid.
Do we need a technical team or clean data?
No. Most clients have messy data and no in-house AI team. We work with whoever owns the process and build solutions your existing team can run.
Which AI tools and models do you use?
We are vendor-neutral. We use leading models and the software you already pay for, and only recommend something new when it clearly beats what you have.
How do you keep our data safe?
We work inside your own accounts wherever possible, sign an NDA before any work starts, and document exactly what data each automation can access. Your data never trains public models.
How long until we see results?
Most clients have a working pilot within four to six weeks, measured against a success metric we agree on before we build.
How are projects priced?
Every engagement is fixed-price with a written scope. The audit is a flat fee and builds are priced per project, so there are no surprise invoices.
